Experience God Whisper To You...

The captain of the ship looked into the dark night and saw faint lights in the distance.

Immediately he told his signalman to send a message: "Alter your course 10 degrees south."
Promptly a return message was received: "Alter your course 10 degrees north.

"The captain was angered; his command had been ignored.
So he sent a second message: "Alter your course 10 degrees south--I am the captain!"

Soon another message was received:
"Alter your course 10 degrees north--I am a seaman third class Jones.

"Immediately the captain sent a third message, knowing the fear it would evoke:
"Alter your course 10 degrees south--I am a battleship.

"Then the reply came: "Alter your course 10 degrees north--I am a lighthouse.

"There are plenty of voices shouting at us through the fog.

What we need is the voice of a lighthouse in our lives.
And that's the voice of our loving Father.

Don't let the busyness of this world hinder you to hear Him.
God has a lot of things to say to you.
You'll experience God whispering to you, reminding you how much He cares for you.

God bless and I love you!

Forever With Jesus...

Birds singing,
Happy is their song,
Inspiring my heart
All the day long,

Reminding me sweetly
Of Jesus and His love,
Reminding me sweetly
Of Heaven above,

Joining in a chorus
God orchestrates,
Inspiring awe
Of all He creates...

Yes, the birds sing
All around me,
Playing a song
Of sweet eternity.

I smile in my heart,
Knowing Jesus is near,
Yes, in this beautiful morn
I feel He is here.

Yet when storms come,
Surely He is here too;
My Jesus stays with me
In all that I do.
So with happy birds

Singing today,
I sing of my Jesus,
My Love and my Way.

I sing of His glory,
Of all He creates,
Of the beautiful symphony

He orchestrates,
Of His mercy, His grace,

Of His eternal love,
Of His endless treasure
In Heaven above..

Yes, I join the birds
In their happy song,
As forever with Jesus
We do belong!

1Thessalonians4:17
"And so we will be with the Lord forever."

Running In The Wrong Direction...

You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? Galatians 5:7 (NKJV)When the Apostle Paul spoke to the churches in Galatia he complemented them, but then asked them a pointed question,
“Who hindered you from obeying the truth?” Paul told them they had run well, but something had obstructed them from running, or at least from running in the proper direction.

We need to take notice of this because this same temptation will be presented to us to stop running, or worse yet, to run in the wrong direction. When we sin, we know it immediately because the Holy Spirit convicts us.  The closer our walk with God, the more sensitive we are to sin, and to the resulting conviction. The further away we are in our walk with God, the more calloused our spirit of sensitivity and feeling becomes.

The devil loves to counterfeit God, so he will bring forth condemnation as his counterfeit of the Holy Spirit’s conviction after we sin.

So how do we know which one we are feeling – is it conviction or condemnation?
Here is any easy way to determine.  Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit, and it will cause us to “run” towards God to seek His forgiveness, and to get back to the shelter of His arms.

Condemnation comes from the devil, and it will cause us to
“run” away from God. And as a result we feel horrible and depressed—not worthy of God’s love or grace within our lives. But God doesn’t want us feeling this way, and He has given us a promise to hold onto when the temptation to feel condemned comes our way

The next time you feel bad because of your sin, check out what your response is. If you find yourself running towards God, you can be sure He is the One who brought the conviction to your mind and heart. But if you find yourself running away—not going to church, not wanting to read your Bible or daily devotions, or not wanting to talk to other Christians—then you can be sure it was condemnation from Satan in an attempt to destroy you and your walk with God.

Jesus paid the price for our sin in full.  Let’s not get full of pride when we recognize this, let’s get right with God by confessing our sin for what it really is, and let’s get back to the protective shelter and to the peaceful walk we know He has for us.
What does Romans 8:1 tell us about condemnation in the life of a believer?

Have you found yourself running away from God after living in sin? Can you now see how the devil was lying to you?
Let’s ask God for forgiveness of any sin we may have in our life. Let’s make it our intention to serve the Lord today. If you fall short, run straight towards Him and confess it for what it is. It’s this simple!

LET'S PRAY:
Father, thank You for convicting us when we are in error and have sinned. We understand Your Son’s payment covers our transgression, and that we simply need to confess it for what it is—sin. It is not our desire to write a blank check with regards to sinning because of your grace, and we desire for You to continue to allow us to see what sin looks like to You. In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen

God bless and I love you! :-)

Forgiveness of our sin...

Yes, you may have been wronged, and you do have the right to be angry at the sin,
but don’t let it eat you up inside.
Forgive others immediately and let yourself be freed.

According to Matthew 6:14-15 why should we be forgiving others?
Is there someone you have not forgiven?
Ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind anyone who have offended or hurt you so you may forgive him or her freely.

Experience the freedom and power God has desired for your life.

LET’S PRAY:
Father, thank You for Your forgiveness of our sin.

Show us Lord those who we have not fully forgiven so we might resolve this with You.
Help us to continue to imitate You in every aspect of our lives.
In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen…
God bless and I love you!

“Happiness - here and now”

" It is possible to live happily in the here and now.

So many conditions of happiness are available--more than enough for you to be happy right now.
You don't have to run into the future in order to get more."

God bless and I love you!

Imitators of God ---"Loving Others"

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:2 (NKJV)When we think about imitating God, we must first think about how much He loved us. God showed His love for us first by sending His only begotten Son to give His life for us to be the propitiation for our sins. We love Him because He first loved us. He reached down to us and He showed us how to love others as an example to follow. We are to love the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all of our strength (Deut. 6:5), and we do this practically as we lay our lives down for those whom He has placed within our lives (John 15:13).
We show our love for others and for God by abiding in Him, and by obeying His Word.  We are imitating God in love when we share His Word with those He has placed within our life—this includes family, acquaintances and friends.

Love is not just a word describing a feeling; it is an action manifested in selflessness—it considers others more important. When we love others in this way, we will yield our personal desires to allow for theirs. This is how we can know if we have God living inside of us; we will have true love in our spirit and in our heart for others, wanting the best for them. This is our living testimony to others, as we imitate what God has already done for us.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV)
Let’s choose to abide in God, and in His Word. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to wash us in the Word, and empower us to love others in the same way Jesus loved.

LET’S PRAY:

Father, thank You for showing us how to love others.  Touch our hearts this day Lord, and teach us to love others with Your heart. Let us see others as more important than ourselves. In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen…

God bless and I love you!
